Today we're going to practice some skills you've developed over the past week:
You'll be able to practice working with mirrors and windows, interpretive lenses, character-based summaries, theme-based summaries, and using your notebook to figure out which strategy works best for you right now.
Watch the videos I've attached and follow the instructions that go with each video.
3
Get ready to look for mirrors and windows in the next video.
Pro tip: Use your notebook to collect similarities to your own life and differences from your own life as you watch.
4
5
Open Ended
Type a mirror (similarity to your own life) or a window (difference from your own life) that you found while watching the video about Miss Devine.
6

My experience is similar in another way.

You've finished today's activity! Rejoice!
Now grab your book and read for the little bit of time that you have left in class. You could also use the remaining class time to work in your notebook.
