Here in the Netherlands, some towns don’t have a library, and many schools don’t either. In my town, there’s a library on a bus, and it visits one school each day. Yesterday, it came to my school. My classmates and I visited during school with our teacher, and we went back after school too. Downstairs, there were books, and upstairs there were comfortable places to read. We liked reading together and talking about our favorite books. My favorite book at the moment is about music.

People speak many languages in India and it isn’t always easy to find books in your language. In my part of India, there’s a library in a van with books in different languages. My dad drives the library van to small towns and villages. Sometimes, he travels for hours. Last week, I went with him. We stopped in the middle of a small town. Many people came to the van. They think it’s exciting. It was great—everyone was reading or talking about books! I often borrow books from the van. I love history and science.
