Personal Opinion - There are many things that everyone wants to achieve in the future. However, only some of them manage to clinch their dreams and hope for their future. Many people say that the tendency to achieve grab your goal for the future depends on the mindset.

Firstly, there is a strong link between reading and academic success as it enriches one's language.
First and foremost, reading and academic success is strongly linked because it helps to enrich our language.
That is because, when we read a book or an article from any sources, we will definitely find new and unfamiliar vocabularies or jargons.
In regards to the point mentioned, reading provides us a bridge to improve our own mother tongue by learning unfamiliar vocabularies or even absorbing new vocabularies from other languages.

Furthermore, in order to understand the message in a book or an article, we need to find the meaning of the words by referring to a dictionary or any translation applications. Then, we would be able to use the newly learned vocabularies in our examination.
In regards to the point mentioned, reading provides us a bridge to improve our own mother tongue by learning unfamiliar vocabularies or even absorbing new vocabularies from other languages.
In addition, as we stumble upon new words during our reading process, we will seek the meaning in order to get better understanding of the idea. Then, we would be able to apply the newly learned vocabularies in our examination.

For example, there will be numerous unfamiliar vocabularies when we read an English article. Thus, as we are able to learn the meanings of the unfamiliar words, we will be able to use it our English essay. For instance, euphoric has the same meaning as happy. Thus, we are able to replace the word happy with euphoric in our essay for an English writing examination.
For instance, jargons found in many English articles during our reading process will directly help us to write better in our English essay. Take the word scrutinize as an example. This word is commonly found in a science experiment report. As we learn the meaning of it as to observe very thoroughly, we will be able to use it in our English essay such as 'As I scrutinized the picture on the wall, I found a clue!'. It will definitely help us to score better in our English essay examination.

First and foremost, your mindset determines your future because it will help you to plan your action. This is because when you set a goal in your mind, you will plan short term and long term objective so you can work hard to achieve the ultimate future goal. You can create a suitable timeline to ensure that you will follow it in order to achieve your goal in the future. For example, if you plan to be a successful businessman in the future, you will plan to join a class to learn about business and begin to start a small business and expand it from time to time. Therefore, your mindset will help you to plan your action to achieve your goal in the future.
