Maria and Bob have one biological child named Susan

Remember Susan, Maria's child from her first marriage?

Now Josiah is Susan's step dad.

Susan is Josiah's step daughter.

Maria is now Amy and Jane's stepmom.

Amy and Jane are Maria's step children - her step daughters.

Amy and Jane do not have the same biological mother or father as Susan.

Amy and Jane are Susan's step sisters (no blood)

Step father -> Father because your mother (or father) married him (not blood)

Step mother -> Mother because your father (or mother) married her (not blood)

Step sister -> Sister because your mother or father married her mother or father (not blood)

Step brother -> Brother because your mother or father married his mother or father (not blood)

Juliana and Susan are half sisters!

Juliana is Amy and Jane's half sister.
