BUT BEFORE WE BEGIN
Here's a set of rules for the class:
No gadgets or memes.
Only open new tabs or programs when instructed to do so.
If you focus, you won't have any homework.
You can ask questions at any time, as long as they're related to the lesson,
3
Past Participle VS Simple Past Verbs
For most verbs, the past participle is just that verb with -ed, same as the simple past verbs (call -> called)
But some verbs need to be altered completely to become a past participle (write -> written, tear-> torn, take -> taken)
4
Past Participle VS Simple Past Verbs
Did you notice that past participle verbs are spelled differently from simple past verbs?
write -> wrote -> written
tear -> tore -> torn
take -> took -> taken
Past participles are also used in perfect tenses, unlike simple past verbs.
