Pengertian Barisan Aritmatika

Barisan aritmatika adalah barisan bilangan dengan beda atau selisih setiap dua suku berurutannya selalu tetap.

Rumus Suku Ke-n Barisan Aritmatika

Un = a + (n-1)b
Un adalah suku ke-n
a = U1 adalah suku pertama
n adalah banyak suku
b adalah selisih dua suku berurutan

Contoh:

Diketahui barisan aritmatika 2, 5, 8, ...

Tentukan suku pertama, beda dan suku ke-21 nya!

Jawab:

Suku pertama = a = 2

beda = b = 5 - 2 = 3

Suku ke-21 berarti n = 21, maka gunakan rumus

Un = a + (n-1)b

U21 = 2 + (21-1)3

U21 = 2 + 20X3

U21 = 2 + 60

U21 = 62
