Bisa mencegah terjadinya benturan kepentingan masyarakat
Dapat menciptakan kehidupan masyarakat menjadi aman, tentram, dan tertib.
Memberi petunjuk atau pedoman bagi setiap individu dalam menjalani kehidupan dimasyarakat
Membantu mencapai tujuan bersama dalam masyarakat
Mengatur tingkah laku masyarakat agar sesuai nilai yang berlaku.
Memberikan batasan yaitu berupa larangan atau perintah dalam berperilaku dan bertindak.
Memaksa individu dalam menyesuaikan dan beradaptasi dengan normanorma yang berlaku yang ada dalam masyarakat serta menyerap nilai-nilai yang diharapkan.
