They are giant spinning storms (other words - low pressure weather systems) that forms over warm tropical waters.

What's the difference????
Typhoon, Cyclones and Hurricanes - ALL THE SAME. The terms are used differently because of the place it happened.
1. Hurricanes : North Atlantic Ocean and Northeast Pacific.
2. Typhoons : Northwest Pacific Ocean.
3. Cyclones : South Pacific and Indian Ocean.
