The bicycle was invented in 1817 by Baron Karl von Drais. Before the bicycle, people could ride horses or cartwheels, but not ride the bycicle.

The modern computer was invented in 1941. The first modern computer was very big, but not very powerful. You couldn't play Minecraft, or even Tetris, on this machine.
