Not all objects are attracted to magnets, but metals are. This means they possess the property called magnetism.

In the same way, not all objects can conduct electricity. Those that can are called conductors, while those that cannot are called insulators.

Substances that are able to be dissolved in a solvent are said to be soluble. Those that cannot be dissolved are called insoluble substances.

Liquids that are thick and take more effort to flow are said to be viscous. For example, honey is more viscous than water. Water is less viscous compared to honey.

Malleability is the ability to be hammered into thin sheets. Take coins for example - coins are made of metal which was hammered into thin sheets. Because of this, we say that metal is malleable.

Ductility is the ability to be formed into thin wires. Most wires are made of copper because copper is ductile.
