Sura e Maedah Ver 55 is a clear verse about mastership of Ali (as) & Aimmah (as)

The narrator of this incident is J Abu Zarr Ghaffari (ra) whose honesty has been vouched for by Holy Prophet (sawa)

The enemies of those days also tried to repeat this incident but not even once was a verse revealed

Ahle Tasannun have tried to raise objections against this clear incident also, but our scholars have responded in detail

Holy Prophet (sawa) came to Mecca only 3 times after Hijrat

He (sawa) categorically announced about his journey for Hajj

People kept joining him until there were a total of 1,20,000 people

Ahlebayt (a.s) of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w.) i.e J.Zahra (s.a.), Imam Hasan and Imam Husain (a.s.), and also his (s.a.w.w.) wives joined

Ali (a.s.) had gone to Najraan and then to Yemen with the army of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w.) for collecting khums, zakat and jizyah & also to invite towards islam. Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w.) at the time ofmoving from Medina sent letter asking Ali (as) to move from yemen for Hajj. Ali (a.s.) after completing his work along with army and people of Yemen (12,000) after wearing ehraam at miqaat started for Mecca

Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w.) gave two khutba at two places before Khutba e Ghadeer, which was for preparing the grounds.

First Khutba was at mina. He (s.a.w.w.) tried to remove jealousy from the people and warned the people from being divided after him and raising sword against each other. After talking about Ali (a.s.), he said Hadis-e-Saqlayn.

Second Khutba in Masjid-e-Kheef in Mina. He again reminded not to do tafreqa and announced equality of rights among muslims and divine laws. Then he presented the matter of Khilafat and mentioned Hadees-e-Saqlayn

Importance of Johfa being the central point

Preparation of gathering the people (Haajis) and making the pulpit on the hot day

Started the sermon with praise of Allah (swt) and then called the people to witness that he had faithfully discharged his duties

‘Do I not have more authority over you than yourselves?’ - ‘Certainly O Prophet of Allah (you have more right on us)!’

Revelation of the verse ‘…this day I have perfected your religion for you (all) and I have completed My Bounty upon you (all) and I have chosen for you Islam as a religion…’ Sura e Maedah (5), Ver. 3

Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w.) also gave invitation to do Bay’at with him and then with Ali (a.s.) after the sermon

Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w.) made a lot of arrangements before going to his last Hajj

He (s.a.w.w.) gave a total of 3 sermons in his whole journey

A verse was revealed commanding him (s.a.w.w.) to make the announcement, and a verse was also revealed after the announcement of Ghadeer

He (s.a.w.w.) also spoke about other Aimmah (a.s.) and specifically about Imam e Zamana (a.t.f.s.) in his sermon

This hadis is Mutawatir and the late renowned scholar Allamah al-Amini (r.a.) in the first volume of his celebrated book Al-Ghadir has given with full references the names of 110 famous companions of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) who have narrated this hadis
