Soal 1. Karena hasil yang ditanya dalam bentuk meter, maka ubah terlebih dahulu satuan panjang dan lebarnya ke dalam meter
Panjang = 4,2 dam = 4,2 x 10 m = 42 m
Lebar = 370 dm = 370 : 10 m = 37 m
Keliling = 2 x (panjang + lebar)
= 2 x (42 m + 37 m)
= 2 x 79 m
= 158 meter
Jadi, keliling kebun Pak Warno adalah 158 meter

1 lusin = 12 buah
Jumlah semua piring = 6 x 144 = 864 buah
Dipinjam Bu Tuti = 4 x 12 = 48 buah
Dipinjam Bu Ayu = 2 x 144 = 288 buah
Sisa piring = Jumlah semua piring – dipinjam Bu Tuti – dipinjam Bu Ayu
= 864 – 48 – 288
= 528 buah
