Is the act of using a computer to produce documents such as letters and memos.

A Basic Word Processing Interface

Many different tasks can be performed by a single word processing program. 

The menu system consists of tabs

e.g.

The Home tab

Insert tab,

Design tab, etc.

Each tab opens up a specific Ribbon. 

Can you locate: The Home tab , The Insert tab, and the Design tab?

Groups of commands

Each Ribbon is made up of several groups of commands, for example we see

the Font group, 

Paragraph group,

Styles group, etc. 

The small arrow at the bottom of the group, allows you to access more commands.
