Little, a little, few and a few.

If we refer to a singular or uncountable noun, we use little or a little. Ex:

There was little food at the party (meaning a really small portion or almost nothing).

There is a little money in the box (meaning something but not too much)

If we refer to countable plural nouns, we use "few" or "a few". Ex:

I would like a few minutes of silence, please.

We have a few students from Machachi

Few people are happy with their jobs.

There were few choices on the menu for vegetarians.

Mario wants to say a few things.

There are a few e-mails from your mother.
