Area is the measurement inside any shape or object. Example sentence: The area of this soccer ball is 50 cm²!

Area is measured by multiplying 2 even sides together, or counting the edge and multiplying by the 2 even numbers of the output. You put a '²' sign next to the measurement number and unit of measurement.

Adam's square is equal to 3cm on THREE SIDES. What is the area? A=1cm².

To measure perimeter, you add up all of the edges. The area is the inside measurement, but let's focus on perimeter.
