Once upon a time there was a family with two brothers who were very different. The younger brother was kind and gentle but the older

brother was greedy and mean.

One day when their parents died, the older brother took the whole fortune that his parents left behind, and gave his younger brother

only a tiny hut and the star fruit tree.

But the younger brother didn't complain and he was happy with what he got. He took very good care of his star for a tree and he watered it every day. After a while thanks to his hard work the tree was full of fruits.

When the star fruits began to ripen, a giant Raven came in every morning to eat and no matter what the younger

brother did, he couldn't chase the big black bird away.

The younger brother didn't know what to do but cry “the only thing I have was what that star fruit tree gave me now look this bird took it all, I'm going to be so hungry”

And then a miracle happened, the raven heard what he said and perched down replying in a human voice "star fruits I

eat with gold I pay, be ready with A three footbag and follow me”.

A few days later the bird came back to invite the younger brother to take a seat on his back with the bag, then they disappeared together into the horizon.

The bird took him very far before landing on an island that was full of gold. He filled the bag and the Raven took him back to his home.

From then on, he had a luxurious life and he and helped the poor people who didn't have any money.

The older brother was surprised see that the younger brother had so much money “where did he get it from?”.

He was curious so he tried to find out the secret.

The younger brother, who was honest and frank told him the story about the giant raven that took him to an island to collect all the gold.

The older brother thought he could trick the younger brother and proposed totrade his whole fortune to only the star fruit tree and the tiny hut.

The younger brother agreed, and one day the raven came back to eat the star fruit and gave the older brothers the same recommendation, a 3-foot bag so they could go looking for gold.

Now the older brother was greedy and he was curious about how much he could get, so he brought two huge six-foot bags and when he got to the island he filled them all the way to the top with gold.

On the way back home the raven couldn't carry the heavy weight of the two bags, he asked the older brother throw away some of the gold to make it lighter but he wouldn't listen!

The Ravens tilted his tired wings and dropped him off into the sea, he lost all of his gold and he had to swim back home alone.

In the end all he had was a star fruit tree and the hut.
