Conservative v/s Liberal: Homeland Security

Airport security – Passenger profiling is wrong, period.

Terrorists don’t fit a profile.

We will strengthen the capacity of intelligence and law enforcement around the world by forging stronger international coalitions to provide better information and communication. 

Airport security – profiling and intelligence data should be used to single out passengers for extra screening.

The terrorists currently posing a threat to the U.S. are primarily Islamic/Muslim men between the ages of 18 and 38.

Would like to see an increase in this budget and an increase in the size of the military. They believe that strength is the key to safety, stating “We must deter any adversary who would attack us or use terror as a tool of government
