Advice
Everything that you have been learning so far in the Spanish class needs to be memorized. Now, even more, you need to memorize verb conjugations.

WE HAVE TONS OF REGULAR VERBS. You will recognize them just by looking at the stem.
You’ll easily recognize them by their endings: -ar, -er or –ir.
For example:
hacer chistes, estudiar, reir

How to conjugate all the regular verbs?
For example, the hobbies that we have been learning in class. Remember, all of them are written in the infinitive.
bailar
leer
estudiar
preparer la comida
comer (to eat)

Verbs Ending in AR Conjugation
For verbs ending in -ar, the following endings are added to the verb stem after removing the infinitive ending:

Examples ending in AR: ESTUDIAR
Yo estudio.
Tú estudias.
El/Ella/Usted estudia.
Nosotros estudiamos.
Vosotros estudiáis.
Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes estudian.

For verbs ending in -er, the following endings are added to the verb stem after removing the infinitive ending:

Yo veo televisión.
Tú ves televisión.

For verbs ending in -ir, the following endings are added to the verb stem after removing the infinitive ending:

Examples ending in IR: ESCRIBIR
Yo escribo.
Tú escribes.
El/Ella/Usted escribe.

Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes escriben.

Verbs ending in IR are not the same as when we say:
ir a la escuela
ir al centro comercial
The verb IR is an irregular verb that we will be covering next week.

You will begin to conjugate the verbs for some sentences. Remember, in order to conjugate the verbs you need to:
Look at the stem part of the verb. For example: estudiar, leer, pintar, in order to conjugate the verb
Then eliminate the stem and replace it with the correct verb conjugation.
For example: correr. El corre.
