Acts 6, 7: 1-30

1- 7, provision is made for the Grecians (Hellenists) widows . Seven men who are honest, filled with Holy Ghost and wisdom are selected.

8-15, Stephen is arrested and false charges are accused against him, saying he spoke blasphemous words against God, Moses and the law and against temple.

Stephen was full of faith, filled with Holy Spirit and did great wonders. He was the first christian to be martyred for Christ.

Stephen is defending saying indirectly, it was not he who was blaspheming but the Jews were.

This really was not a defense. Stephen wasn’t interested in defending himself. He simply wanted to proclaim the truth about Jesus in a way people could understand. 

He starts from, Abraham- Moses.
