Articles
'A', 'an', and 'the' are called articles.
'A' and 'an' are indefinite articles.
We use 'a' and 'an' with singular nouns.

The article 'a' is used for words which begin with a consonant sound.
Example: My sister works as a lawyer in Kuantan

The article 'an' Is used for words which begin with a vowel sound or a silent 'h',
Examples: This Is an aquarium. Kamini's father takes an hour to wash his car.
'An' is not used before a word that begins with a vowel sound 'y'. We use 'a' instead.
Example: Idith wore a uniform for the seminar.
