Our country India is in Asia.

The capital of India is New Delhi.

There are 28 states and 8 union territories in India.

We live in a state called Maharashtra.

The capital of Maharashtra is Mumbai.

The language of Maharashtra is Marathi.

The direction pointing upward is North.

The direction pointing downward is South.

The direction pointing to your right is East.

The direction pointing to your left is West.

The Himalayas form the boundary of India in the North.

Down south, India is bound by Arabian Sea on the west and Bay of Bengal on the east.

The country at the southern tip of India is Sri Lanka.
