What Do Illustrators Do?

Step 1: Illustrators decide which scenes in the story they want to illustrate.

Step 2: Then the illustrator decides the size and shape of the book.

Step 3: Then the illustrator uses his imagination or does research to decide how everything will look as he makes sketches for each page.
