What is simple present tense?
It is used to talk about things that we do all the time

1. S + TO BE (am, are, is) + C
Ex: I am student
2. S + V + C
Ex: I learn English

NOTE
1. Third person -S forms.
2. A few verbs add -es in the third person singular. They are: s , z , sh , ch , and x
3. If a verb ends in a consonant and -y, change the y to i before adding -es. If the verb ends in a vowel and -y, simply add s.
