La pressione esercitata sulla superficie di un liquido si trasmette omogeneamente su ogni altra superficie a contatto con il liquido
eg: Pressa idraulica

$P_1=P_2\ \rightarrow\ \frac{F_1}{A_1}=\frac{F_2}{A_2}$
$F_1=100N\ ;\ A_1=1\ dm^2\ ;\ A_2=1\ m^2$
$\ \frac{100\ N}{0,01\ m^2}=\frac{F_2}{1\ m^2}\ \rightarrow\ F_2=\frac{100\ N\ \cdot1\ m^2}{0,01\ m\ ^2}=10000\ N$
