Forces can be described as a push or pull on an object. They can be due to phenomena such as gravity, magnetism, or anything that might cause a mass to accelerate. Common symbols.

In physics, energy is the quantitative property that must be transferred to an object in order to perform work on, or to heat, the object. Energy is a conserved quantity; the law of conservation of energy states that energy can be converted in form, but not created or destroyed

Applied Force. Gravitational Force. Normal Force. Frictional Force. Air Resistance Force. Tension Force. Spring Force.

Types of energy
The 6 Forms of Energy. There are many forms of energy: like solar, wind, wave and thermal to name a few, but the 6 Forms of Energy we study in Needham are: Sound, Chemical, Radiant, Electric, Atomic and Mechanical. Sound Energy- is produced when an object is made to vibrate.
