A family is a group of people, who may live together and are related by blood, marriage or union

The most basic form of human relationship,

Your kinship to others comes from blood ties or unions such as marriage or adoption.

Nuclear Family- mother, father and their children living together in one household

Extended family - (larger family) mother, father, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles living in the same household

Reconstituted/Blended Family- these are families where one or more parents have children from previous relationships

Single Parent Family - one parent living with his/her child/children

Sibling Household- parents are absent, older brother or sister take care of younger siblings.
