In 1995, middle school students in Minnesota found a large number of abnormal frogs. These unusual frogs had extra legs or no legs at all. Since then, people all over the world have reported seeing abnormal frogs.

This pumpkin is abnormal when compared to other pumpkins. What do you think is abnormal about this pumpkin?

The cat’s behavior is abnormal because cats don’t usually sleep with dogs. The dog is also acting abnormally because the majority of dogs don’t take naps with cats. Even though their behavior is unusual, neither animal has a physical abnormality.
