Ustedes Commands

As previously discused, Polite commands are those used when speaking to individuals in authority , those include; our parents, teachers, strangers.

Polite Commands are usually refferd to as usted commands (singular) and ustedes commands (plural).

Ustedes commands are simply commands used when speaking to more than one person. That includes groups of people such as your friends or family as well groups of people in authority or strangers.

Forming the ustedes command is just like the singular usted form. With the addition of one single step.

The Montra to form the usted command:

Form of YO, drop the O and add the opposite ending A or E

In the Ustedes or plural form, simply add an N

Por Ejemplo:

To speak - Hablar

Find the Yo form: Yo hablo

Drop the O and add the opposite ending: Usted - ¡Hable!

Ustedes - ¡Hablen!

Por Ejemplo

To Eat - Comer

Find the Yo form: Yo como

Drop the O and add the opposite ending Usted - ¡Coma!

Ustedes - ¡Coman!

Por Ejemplo

To Open - Abrir

Find the Yo form: Yo abro

Drop the O and add the opposite ending: Usted - ¡Abra!

Ustedes - ¡Abran!
