The Quadratic Formula

$x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$
a, b and c come from the equation of a quadratic equation $ax^2+bx+c$

Why use the Quadratic Formula?

EVERY QUADRATIC IS NOT FACTORABLE
The Quadratic formula is used to solve the equations we cannot factor
Works for every quadratic, but sometimes factoring is easier
