Now lets go over Rotations (write down the next 2 slides)

Rotations are when you turn an image on a coordinate plate. You can turn the image up to 4 times either clockwise (turning the shape to the right) or counterclockwise (turning the shape to the left). When you make a rotation, the shape will look EXACTLY the same, just sideways or upside down.

There are 4 types of turns

  • 90 degrees (turn the shape once), 180 degrees (turn shape twice), 270 degrees(turn shape 3 times) and 360 degrees (turn shape 4 times), 360 degree turns get you back to the original shape.
