Double comparatives: the more... the faster...

The (comparative adjective)+ (noun), the more + (noun) + (subject)+ (verb)

Example: The more difficult the problem, the more creativity you need.

The (comparative adjective) + (noun), the less + (noun) + (subject) + (verb)

Example: The easier the problem, the less time you need to solve it. 

*In both examples, the first half of the sentence describes a cause (the problem is difficult; the problem is easy). The second half of the sentence describes an effect (you need more creativity; you need less time).
