Stem changing verbs (querer)

We have learned how to talk about different food and drinks

Today, we will review how to order food at a spanish speaking restaurant using "querer"

Yo quiero

Tú quieres

Ud., Él, Ella quiere

Nosotros queremos

Vosotros queréis

Uds., Ellos, Ellas quieren

To say what you and others want... use these forms of the verb "querer"

You can also use a noun or an infinitive form of a verb after a form of querer to say what you and others want or want to do

Quiero fruta (I want fruit)

Quiero comer fruta (I want to eat fruit)

Qué quieres hacer? (What do you want to do?)

Juan quiere escuchar musica. (Juan wants to listen to music)
