Media is communication outlets or tools that are used to store and deliver information or data.

There are different types of media that people use on a daily basis. They are printed media (books, magazines, and newspapers), television, movies, video games, music, cell phones, applications, and the internet. Each type of media is delivered through either a device (phone, computer, and tablet) or object (book, magazine, newspaper).

The main ways that people use media on a daily basis are: Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp), the news whether it is fox news, ZNS, or Cable12, newspapers such as the tribune, the guardian, and sometimes even the punch.

There are many ways that people share information and communicate with one another. A perfect example of this is the news; as it uses videos, text, and pictures to communicate the day’s events to the viewers. Another example is Facebook and WhatsApp as they also use videos, pictures, text, and audio clips to share information to the users.

The term multi means more than one or many, as such multimedia means that it is a source of information that contains several forms of media.

A presentation is the way a speaker communicates a topic to a specific audience; a multimedia presentation is a presentation that uses a variety of media. These are created by using a presentation software; some examples of presentation software are: Microsoft PowerPoint, Prezi, Google slides, and Visme.
