The priests blow the trumpets made of rams horn in front of the ark

Take the ark of the covenant and have seven priests carry trumpets in front of it

Armed guard going ahead in front of the ark

Went forward blowing their trumpet

Ark of Lord's covenant followed them

Armed guard ahead of the priests; rear guard followed the ark

Vs. 10: But Joshua had commanded the army, Do not give a war cry, do not raise your voices, do not say a word until the day I tell you to shout. Then shout!

Once a day for six days : each day return to camp and spent night there

Got up at daybreak, marched around the city 7 times

Seventh time around when priests sounded trumpet blast, Joshua commanded army "Shout! for the Lord has given you the city!"
