Racism vs. Xenophobia
It’s never a good sign when we start seeing a massive increase of hatred because of different reasons like race or countries of birth. Racism and xenophobia are the most current social issues in all the world, and it is important to define each one.

Racism vs. Xenophobia
First, racism is a type of discrimination based on the belief that some races are innately superior to others. For example, black people slavery in XVII century is a clear ilustration of how a race dominates another one by claiming intellectual and moral superiority.

Racism vs. Xenophobia
Second, xenophobie is fear and hatred of strangers or foreigners or of anything that is strange or foreign. To ilustrate, the Holocaust of World War II is a horrific example of xenophobia as it was an effort to exterminate the Jewish people due to their religious beliefs and practices.

To sumarize, both racism and xenophobie are types of discrimination that take place in our society due to different reasons.
