Si tenemos que sumar: 2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2
Se ve difícil, tardado y aburrido, ¿verdad?

PERO NO TE PREOCUPES, LA MULTIPLICACIÓN NOS AYUDARÁ A HACERLO MÁS SENCILLO
Podemos cambiar el 2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2
y hacer la siguiente multiplicación: 2x9
¿POR QUÉ?

SENCILLO
Primero contamos cuantas veces se repite el número que queremos sumar. Así:
2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2
1......2.....3.....4.....5.....6.....7.....8.....9
Entonces decimos:
2 x 9 es decir 9 veces el 2

LAS DOS FORMAS SON CORRECTAS PERO LA MULTIPLICACIÓN NOS AHORRA TIEMPO Y ES MÁS SENCILLA
2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2= 18
2 X 9 = 18
