Compound Subject - Object Pronouns

Compound Subject - before the verb.

Example: Tom and she design the sets.

Compound Predicate Noun - after a linking verb (is, am, are, was, were / like an =)

Example: The designers are Tom and she. (The designers = Tom and she; Tom and she = the designers.)

Compound Direct Object - after an action verb.

Example: The artist drew Len and her.

Compound Object of a Preposition - after a preposition (of, in, to, with, from, on, through, over, before, after ....)

Example: We gave a sketch to Sue and him.

Example: They are pleased with him and her.
