Mu’āmalah
Mu’āmalah dalam kamus Bahasa
Indonesia artinya hal-hal yang
termasuk urusan kemasyarakatan
(pergaulan, perdata, dsb). Sementara
dalam fiqh Islam berarti tukarmenukar
barang atau sesuatu yang
memberi manfaat dengan cara yang
ditempuhnya, seperti jual-beli, sewamenyewa,
upah-mengupah, pinjammeminjam,
urusan bercocok tanam,
berserikat, dan usaha lainnya.

Islam melarang beberapa hal di antaranya seperti berikut.
1. Tidak boleh mempergunakan cara-cara yang batil.
2. Tidak boleh melakukan kegiatan riba.
3. Tidak boleh dengan cara-cara ẓāl³m (aniaya).
4. Tidak boleh mempermainkan takaran, timbangan, kualitas, dan kehalalan.
5. Tidak boleh dengan cara-cara spekulasi/berjudi.
6. Tidak boleh melakukan transaksi jual-beli barang haram.
