Another basic example is how a library benefits from RFID tags inside the books, describe the interaction, how each pillar is involved in this communication and the benefits to the business.

Sample answer

A (person) member scans the (thing) RFID tag on the library book with the (thing) information kiosk (P2M connection) by taking the library book to the information. Benefit: no queuing/saves time. This data is sent to the control computer and transmitted to the library’s main server where the database stores and organises the data. The (process) database can be updated to show the book is not available, a member of staff can track overdue books, identify trends (e.g. most popular books), could send an automatic email to people who have not returned books/provide text alerts to their mobile phone. Saves time for employees as they are not spending time logging books in and out, less staff needed, less costs, money could be used to update books or order more copies make decisions on which books to order.
