Proper Fraction - the numerator is smaller than denomintor.

improper Fraction - the numerator is bigger than denominator.

for example : 6/6 , 7/2 , 8/6 and 4/1

mixed number - it compose by whole number and a proper fraction

Similar Fraction - the denominator is always same for example

8/9 , 4/9 , 2/8

dissimilar fraction - the denominator is not a same .

unit fraction - the numerator is always one 1
