Parts of a scene

Character: the personality an actor portrays in a scene or play that is different from his own personality.

Improvise: to ad-lib, or invent dialogue and actions without a script or rehearsal.

improvisation: a spontaneous style of theatre using unrehearsed and unscripted dialogue

scene: beginning, middle, end

What happened before the scene began? (what were the characters doing before they came on stage?)
