THE CROPS WHICH ARE GROWN IN SUMMER SEASON ARE CALLED KHARIF CROPS. THE KHARIF CROP IS HARVESTED AT OCTOBER.

EXAMPLE OF KHARIF CROP : RICE, MAIZE, MILLETS, GROUNDNUT ETC.

RABI CROP

THE CROPS WHICH ARE GROWN IN WINTER SEASON ARE CALLED RABI CROPS. THE KHARIF CROP IS HARVESTED AT APRIL-MAY.

EXAMPLE OF RABI CROPS : WHEAT, GRAM, PEA, MUSTARD ETC.
