Poll
What do you think is the most important use of nanoparticles? (Your opinion)
Catalysts - improving the efficiency of chemical reactions and making them more environmentally friendly.
Nanomedicine: As discussed in previous lessons, fullerenes can be used to deliver drugs and reduce side affects.
Silver Nanoparticles: these have antibacterial properties so can be used in first aid equipment and PPE as well as deodorants.
Computer Chips: some nanoparticles conduct electricity (remember graphene?) so can be used in microchips.
Sun-block: nanoparticles can block and absorb harmful UV rays more efficiently than normal sunblock.
