Countable and Uncountable Nouns

Nouns that can be counted are called countable nouns.

Countable nouns= book, lizard, house, laptop, apple, monkey, etc.

Nouns that cannot be counted are called uncountable nouns.

Uncountable nouns= hair, oil, sugar, grass, juice, oxygen, etc.

For Countable Nouns = one, two, many, a few, several, a number of, etc.

For Both Countable and Uncountable Nouns = some, any, a lot of, plenty of, etc.

For Uncountable Nouns = a little, much, a bit of, a large amount of, a great deal of, etc.
