What makes us interested in new ideas?

The incredible Captain James Cook and his voyages are the only reason we know about the geography of Earth today.

Without the help and guidance of Tupaia, Captain James Cook would have been lost at sea in the South Pacific with no hope of ever finidng his way back to land.

Tupaia was a genius and way smarter than Captain cook because he could navigate to specific places without any navigation tools at all.

Because of the genetic colonization patterns of the ancestors of Tupaia and Cook, we know that these two explorers played a significant role in filling the Earth's map.

He gave him a sense of adventure.

He gave him a complete map of the South Pacific.

He gave him a compass, chart, a clock and a sextant.

He gave him the peace of mind that he was on the right track.

it exaggerates the amount of work done

it defines the importance of the journey

Humans want to explore Mars to add to the exploration map.

Humans explore in the ocean too much.

Humans want to make the world a better place by going on great journeys.

Humans have a unique quality that makes us want to explore.

He wants the reader to be confused to build suspense.

This is part of the cause and effect structure that transitions into his next idea.

This is a rhetorical question that he doesn't expect an answer to.

He wants the reader to be angry that humans are going all the way to Mars.
