MLK - I Have A Dream

In 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. He spoke in Washington, D.C., in front of the Lincoln Memorial. During the speech, Martin Luther King Jr. shared his hope that all people would be treated equally.

A quarter of a million people gathered in the city of Washington D.C. to listen to this speech. Just like Martin Luther, these people came together because they wanted people to be treated fairly,

In his speech, he spoke of his wish for the future. His wish was that people of different races could live together peacefully in the United States. He spoke of the discrimination that the black men have faced even though they were to be treated as equals.
