Think large works of literature, writing, or art

You cannot "italicize" when hand writing something, only underline

Named ships (USS Alabama), planes (Airforce One), dirigibles (Goodyear Blimp) are also underlined/italicized

Large works include names of newspapers, magazines, TV/Radio programs, etc.

Use for smaller works or literature, writing, etc.

Smaller works include episodes, chapters, articles, TV/Radio episodes

Quotations are used when directly citing what someone actually said (conversation) or write

Find the subject and verb first

Ask who or what received the action of the verb = direct object

Indirect objects are who/what the DO is for

These will be nouns or pronouns

Example: Mother baked a cake for me.
