Possessive adjectives indicate a relationship or ownership.

In English, the possessive adjectives are my, your, his, her, its, our, their.

Each subject pronoun in German has its own corresponding possessive adjective.

--- The subject pronouns are: ich, du, er, sie, es, wir, ihr, Sie, sie.

Possessive adjectives get endings based on the gender, number, and case of the noun they modify.

--- Gender: masculine (der), feminine (die), neuter (das)

--- Number: singular or plural
