Commas in dates.
When a full date is written out, there should be a comma between the day and the year, as well as after the year if the sentence continues.
If you are adding the day of the week before the date a comma must go between the day of the week and the month.
Ex: I was born on February 3, 1985, and it snowed.
Ex: I went to Six Flags Great America on June 12, 2016.
On Tuesday, January 5th, 2021, we returned to school.

When you are writing about a state or city that you live in you should always put a comma between the city and the state.
Ex: Algonquin, IL
Ex: For summer vacation my family traveled to Orlando, Florida.
