Hurray! I just got a camera from Dad. I really needed one for my China trip! I’m going to go shopping this Saturday for a backpack and a pair of hiking boots as well.

I’ll need them for the long hiking trips in

China. But first, I’m going to Hong

Kong to see friends and family.

Hey Carrie! Shall we go to the Peak while you're here? The last time we were there was two years ago – remember? It was such a clear day. We were able to see the whole city and even the bridges and mountains    far far away! This time, we can take lots of pictures with your new camera!

Hi, Cousin Carrie! You’ll be in Hong Kong on 14 Sept, right? Dad says we’re going to meet you at the airport. We will also take you sightseeing! 

First, we will visit the International Commerce Centre. Most people call it ICC. It is in West Kowloon, and it is the tallest building in Hong Kong! You like high places, don't you?

After that, we’ll go to Yuen Long for a big family dinner. All our uncles and aunts will be there! Don’t worry, though. This will be the only family gathering during your stay. 

Also, I’m going to Ocean Park on 16 Sept with some friends. The Grand Aquarium there has over 5 000 fish. There is a giant viewing glass that measures 13 x 8 metres. You can see the fish up close! Do you want to come? Just let me know and I’ll get you a ticket.

Yesterday, I got an email from Kelly. She is my best friend in Hong Kong. She is going to lend me her backpack. Now, I won’t have to go shopping for one. That means I’ll have more money to spend on hiking boots. Hurray!
